Test Step 7 - Check the Liftgate Ajar Switch Sense Check For Open

• Measure the resistance of the liftgate ajar switch sense circuit between the power liftgate module C2 connector and the power liftgate latch connector.

Is the resistance less than 2.0 ohms?

Yes

• Replace the power liftgate latch assembly. Refer to LIFTGATE LATCH .
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

No

• Repair the liftgate ajar switch sense wire for an open.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
