Removal And Installation: Amplifier

View of removed amplifier:

Perform the following steps before starting:

-- Switch off ignition, switch off all electrical consumers and remove ignition key.

Amplifier is installed under front left seat.

-- Move seat into uppermost and rearmost position.

-- Unclip the cover on the bottom of the seat in -direction of arrow-.

-- Remove screws -arrows- on amplifier.

-- Pull out the amplifier just far enough until the connector is accessible.

-- Move the lever in -direction of arrow-. This will push the connector out of the amplifier.

-- Remove amplifier.

Installing

Install the amplifier in -direction of arrow-.

-- When installing the amplifier, be sure to slide it in -direction of arrow A- so that it fits into the notch -arrow B-.
