Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing & Information System VAS 5051B
CAUTION:
Follow the procedure in the Repair information when disconnecting and connecting the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
NOTE:
Check the generator. Refer to SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAM.
-- Connect the VAS 5051B. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSIS, TESTING AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS .
On the VAS 5051B, select "Guided Fault Finding".
-- Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:
- Body
- Electrical Equipment
- 27 - Starter, power supply
- Electrical Components
- Generator (GEN) -C-
