Transmission, Transporting And Securing To The Assembly Stand

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Always secure heavy parts when transporting.

Remember there is oil in the transmission. Do not turn the transmission with the vents facing downward when transporting or when it is on the assembly stand. The oil will leak out.

Transporting

-- Use appropriate lifting tools, for example part of the engine sling -2024 A- and the shackle 10-222 A/12 (not illustrated).

The transmission can also be lifted using the transmission support jig -3336-.
