Signal Horns

NOTE:

High Tone Horn -H2- and Low Tone Horn -H7- are activated in parallel by Vehicle Electrical System Control Module -J519-.

Removal and installation procedure for both horns is the same.

High Tone Horn -H2- is installed at left and Low Tone Horn -H7- is installed at right, next to radiator.

Removing 

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and move the ignition key or start button into the 0 position (preliminary engaged position).

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- Disconnect electrical connection -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and the horn -3- with the bracket.

Installing 

-- Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Tighten the bolt -1- connecting the bracket to the body to 20 Nm.
