Instrument Cluster

General Information

The following components are located inside the instrument cluster:

Instrument Cluster Control Module -J285-
Anti-Theft Immobilizer Control Module -J362-
Speedometer -G21-
Tachometer -G5-
Fuel Gauge -G1-
Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge -G3-
Multifunction indicator
Indicator lamps

To audibly support the visual displays of the instrument panel insert, the Instrument Cluster Control Module -J285- activates a warning buzzer.

All control lamps are equipped with Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs). Servicing the instrument cluster is not planned. In the event of malfunctions, replace complete instrument cluster.

The Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- is not part of the instrument cluster.

Accessories are installed on the instrument panel depending on the vehicle equipment, refer to Auxiliary Instruments -GX22- OVERVIEW .

DTC Recognition And Display

The instrument cluster is equipped with On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capabilities

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in "Guided Fault Finding".
