Knock Sensor: Removing

-- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the knock sensor cover (4).

-- Disconnect the wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the knock sensor (2).

-- Remove the knock sensor bolt (3) and sensor (2) from the engine.
