Test Step 3 - Verify The PEM Is Active On The Bus

• Turn the ignition on.
• With the scan tool, select Network Diagnostics.
• Verify the PEM is active on the bus.

Is the PEM active on the bus?

Yes 

• Go to Test Step 4 - CHECK FOR ADDITIONAL COMMUNICATION RELATED DTCS 

No 

• Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM PASSIVE ENTRY MODULE and perform the NO RESPONSE FROM PEM diagnostic procedure.
