Test Step 5 - CHECK THE POWER LIFTGATE CHIME

• Reconnect the Power Liftgate Module C2 harness connector.
• Turn the ignition on.
• While using the scan tool to actuate the Power Liftgate Chime, measure the voltage between the (Q94) Power Liftgate Chime Driver circuit and the (Z910) Ground circuit.

Does the voltage cycle between 0 and 12 volts?

Yes

• Replace the Power Liftgate Chime. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE CHIME .
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

No

• Replace the Power Liftgate Module. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE .
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
