Test Step 3 - Liftgate Clutch Driver Circuit Short to Ground

• Turn the ignition OFF.
• Disconnect the power liftgate module C1 harness connector.
• Measure the resistance between ground and the liftgate clutch driver circuit.

Is the resistance less than 10k ohms?

No

• Replace the power liftgate module. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE .
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

Yes

• Repair the liftgate clutch driver circuit for a short to ground.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TESTBody Exterior .
