Removal and Installation

CAUTION:
Prior to the removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the appropriate diagnostic equipment. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. For additional information, refer to

CAUTION:
Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
- Disconnect the 6 electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 nuts and position the SJB aside.
- Disconnect the TPMS antenna electrical connector and remove the SJB.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the SJB configuration from the diagnostic tool into the new SJB. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- Program the RKE function of the SJB.
- If a new instrument cluster was not installed, cycle each key to the ON position for a minimum of 6 seconds to program the RKE function of the integrated keys.
- If a new instrument cluster was installed, program the integrated keys (2 required). For additional information, refer to ANTI-THEFT - PATS .
CAUTION:
When a new SJB is installed, the remote keyless entry (RKE) function of the SJB must be programmed.
