Vehicle Certification (VC) Codes

The upper portion of the vehicle certification (VC) label contains the manufacturer's name, the month and year of manufacture, the certification statement and the VIN. It also includes gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). The VC label is located on the left-hand door jamb.

Exterior paint codes may be listed as a 2-part code. The first set of characters identify the primary body color. The second set of characters (if applicable) identify the vehicle accent or 2-tone body color. All colors are base coat/clear coat

• CX - Dark Shadow Gray
• DV - Light Tundra/Titanium Green
• G2 - Redfire
• GW - Fossil Orange
• KR - Norcea Blue Pearl
• R1 - Dark Teal
• SN - Sonic Blue
• T3 - Satellite Silver - Mariner
• T7 - Charcoal Beige - Mariner
• UA - Ebony
• YN - Silver Metallic
• YZ - Oxford White

Interior trim codes are listed as a 2-part code. The first character identifies the interior trim type. The second character identifies the interior trim color.

Interior Trim Type 

• 5 - Nudo leather seats
• A - Captains cloth seats
• B - Premium cloth (No Boundaries)
• C - Imola leather seats
• M - Herringbone cloth seats
• N - Toscana leather seats
• P - Premium leather seats (Mercury)
• S - Premium suede seats (Mercury)
• T - DX cloth seats
• W - XLS cloth seats

Interior Trim Color 

• 2 - Medium Dark Flint
• B - Ebony
• H - Medium Pebble

Powertrain calibration information is printed in the lower right corner of the VC label. Only base calibration information is printed. Revision levels will not appear, however, they can be found in On Line Automotive Service Information System (OASIS).
