No communication with the driver seat module (DSM)	Fuse. Circuitry. DSM.	DEPOWER the supplemental restraint system (SRS). REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM . If equipped with seat side air bags, DISCONNECT driver seat side air bag C3226 and CONNECT restraint system diagnostic tool 418-133 to driver seat side air bag C3226. CONNECT the battery ground cable. CHECK DSM C341a pin 1, circuit 566 (DG) and C341c pin 9, circuit 956 (OG/LG) for greater than 10 volts; REPAIR as needed. CHECK DSM C341a pin 2, circuit 57 (BK) and C341c pin 10, circuit 875 (BK/LB) for less than 5 ohms; REPAIR as needed. If okay, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK . Once the repair is complete, DISCONNECT the battery. If equipped with seat side air bags, DISCONNECT the restraint system diagnostic tool and CONNECT the driver seat side air bag C3226. REPOWER the SRS. REFER to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
No communication with the module - unable to carry out on-demand self test with the DSM	Fuse(s). Circuitry. DSM.	REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
The driver power seat is inoperative (with power recliner)	Fuse. Circuitry. Seat control switch.	GO to PINPOINT TEST A .

The heated seat is inoperative	Fuse. Heated seat element. Heated seat module. Electronic automatic temperature control (EATC) module. Loose solder joint. Pinched wire at torsion bar.	NOTE: Vehicles built through 11/22/06, INSPECT the seat cushion wire harness for damage due to being trapped between the track torsion bar and cushion causing separation at the solder joint. If this concern is found, INSTALL a new seat cushion pad and reposition harness. If concern is not found, GO to the appropriate PINPOINT TEST . For driver seat, GO to PINPOINT TEST M . For passenger seat, GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
The heated seat is inoperative - seat does heat but the heated seat indicator does not illuminate	Circuitry. Heated seat module. EATC module.	For driver seat, GO to PINPOINT TEST O . For passenger seat, GO to PINPOINT TEST P .
