Powertrain Mounting

There are four engine mounts that consist of brackets molded into position with a rubber material. When installed, the engine mounts isolate the vehicle body from the powertrain vibration. The right and left side mounts laterally support the powertrain assembly, while the front and rear mounts prevent engine torque from rotating the powertrain assembly toward the front or rear of the engine compartment.
