Test Step 2 - Inverter Control Output Circuit Short to Ground

• Turn the ignition OFF.
• Disconnect the TIPM harness connector.
• Disconnect the inverter module harness connector.
• Inspect the wiring connections for corrosion and repair as necessary.
• Measure the resistance between ground and the inverter control output circuit at the inverter module harness connector.

Is the resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes 

• Go to Test Step 3 Test Step 3 - Inverter Module .

No 

• Repair the short to ground in the circuit.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
