Test Step 5 - Liftgate Ajar Switch Sense Circuit Short to Ground

• Measure the resistance between ground and the liftgate ajar switch sense circuit in the liftgate latch connector.

Is the resistance less than 10k ohms?

No

• Go to Test Step 6 Test Step 6 - Liftgate Ajar Switch Sense Circuit Open 

Yes

• Repair the liftgate ajar switch sense circuit for a short to ground.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
