Test Step 3 - Liftgate Latch Cinch Driver Circuit Short to Ground

• Turn the ignition OFF.
• Disconnect the power liftgate module C2 harness connector.
• Disconnect the power liftgate latch harness connector.
• Measure the resistance between ground and the liftgate latch cinch driver circuit.
• Wiggle the harness and check for an intermittent short condition.

Is the resistance less than 10k ohms?

No

• Go to Test Step 4 Test Step 4 - Liftgate Latch Cinch Driver Circuit Short to the Logic Ground Circuit 

Yes

• Repair the liftgate latch cinch driver circuit for a short to ground.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
