Test Step 3 - Check the Right Liftgate Pinch Sensor
- Disconnect the right liftgate pinch sensor harness connector.
- Measure the resistance between the logic ground circuit and the right pinch sensor signal circuit in the right liftgate pinch/temp sensor (component side) connector.
NOTE:
Graphic shows the harness side - component side is the mate connector.
Is the resistance between 9k and 11k ohms?
Yes
- Go to Test Step 4 Test Step 4 - Right Pinch Sensor Signal Circuit Open
No
- Replace the right liftgate pinch/temp sensor. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE PINCH SENSOR .
- Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
