Automatic Transmission Fluid Level, Checking And Adding: Notes

Note the following information:

If the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) is filled, only use ATF available as a replacement part.
Adapter for Oil Filling VAS6262/6 must also be used on some fluid containers.

It may be necessary to shorten the pipe on the adapter for oil filling VAS6262A. Refer to Fig 2.

Shorten the Pipe on the Adapter for Oil Filling VAS6262A As Follows:

-- Shorten the pipe to 210 mm -a-. This assures the pipe on the Adapter For Oil Filling VAS6262A will not touch the bottom of some oil containers.

NOTE:

Dimension -a- is measured starting from the shaft in the cap (green surface) on the Adapter For Oil Filling VAS6262A.

-- Cut the pipe using the Pipe Cutter VAS6056/2.

Special tools and workshop equipment required
