-- Using a multimeter, Check the EGR Motor -V338- / EGR Potentiometer -G212- electrical harness connector to the Engine Control Module - J623 - electrical harness connector T60 for an open circuit.

If the specified value was Not obtained:
-- Check the wiring connection for an open circuit, high resistance, short circuit to Battery (+) or, Ground.
-- Check the electrical harness connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals.
-- If necessary, repair the faulty wiring connection.
-- Go to Final Procedures
If the specified value was obtained:
-- Replace the EGR Motor -V338- /EGR Potentiometer -G212-. Refer to the Repair Information.
-- Go to Final Procedures
-- Remove the Engine Control Module -J623-. Refer to the Repair Information.
-- Using a multimeter, Check the EGR Motor -V338- /EGR Potentiometer -G212- electrical harness connector to the Engine Control Module - J623 - electrical harness connector T60 for an open circuit.
