General Repair Information: Fasteners

Do not overstretch the circlips.

Installed position for some of the circlips: the circlip is >>narrower at the top<<. This makes it easier for the pliers to grab the circlip when removing and installing it.
Replace damaged or stretched locking ring after removing.
The circlips must fit completely inside the groove.
Replace the adapter sleeves. Installed position: the slit -A- should align with the line of force -arrow-.
