After replacing the mass air flow sensor basic setting must be reset.

Using ODIS, right click on the ECM from the control module list view, select control module OBD, and then basic settings. Select "Reset after replacement of mass air flow sensor" and "Reset oxygen sensor learned values". Select the blue forward arrow on the bottom left, the next screen will say not available. Select the blue forward button again. From the measured values field, select status of basic settings. Select the blue forward button again. Now left click on "Reset after replacement of mass air flow sensor". Select start and at the top you will see basic settings ended, now click next on the bottom and then start. Basic settings ended will show at the top again. Clear faults and cycle the key several times to verify fault has not returned.
