Air Distribution Housing: Disassembling

See notes, refer to OPEN REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .

-- Remove the heater and A/C unit, refer to HEATER AND A/C UNIT .

-- Heater core removal:

• For Diesel vehicles, refer to HEATER CORE .
• For all other vehicles, refer to HEATER CORE .

-- Remove the evaporator housing from the heater and air conditioner, refer to EVAPORATOR HOUSING .

-- Remove screws -4-.

-- Lift the air duct cover -5- in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -2- from the air distribution housing -1-.

-- Unhook the clips -3- and -6-.

-- Pull the air distribution housing -1- apart.
