Coolant Pump: Removing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

-- Remove the right front wheel.

-- Remove the right front wheel housing liner. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- Remove the pendulum support.

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT .

-- Support the engine in its installed position. Refer to ENGINE, SUPPORTING IN ITS INSTALLED POSITION .

-- Remove the engine mount to engine mount bracket bolts -arrows-.

-- Lower the engine using the engine support bridge 10-222 A just enough until it is possible to remove the coolant pump.

-- Remove the coolant pump pulley. To do so, counter hold the pulley using a drift (standard).

-- Remove the coolant pump bolts -1- and then remove the coolant pump -2- first forward and then downward.
