Battery, Disconnecting And Connecting: Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

NOTE:

Deactivate the anti-theft alarm system first and then disconnect the battery.

By removing the battery negative terminal clamp (current disruption), safe work on the electrical system is guaranteed. Disconnecting the battery positive (B+) terminal must only be performed as required to remove battery from vehicle, and must only be carried out after the negative (-) terminal is disconnected. Always follow the instructions for connecting the battery. Refer to WARNINGS AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .



Special tools and workshop equipment required 

The battery is installed in the left side of the luggage compartment in vehicles with the 3.6L V6 gasoline engine.

NOTE:
