-- Open the cover tab -1- of the battery protective covering.

-- Loosen the clamp -1- and remove the battery ground cable terminal from the battery negative pole.

-- Loosen the clamp -2- and remove the positive cable from the battery positive pole.

-- Unclip the service cover -1- off the side trim panel -2-.

-- Disconnect the ground cable -1- from the battery negative pole.

-- Disconnect the positive cable -2- from the battery positive pole.
