Engine Speed Sensor -G28-: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover.

-- Loosen the charge air hose clamp -2-.

-- Disconnect the electrical connector -arrow-.

-- Remove the noise insulation, refer to one of the following:

GTI and Tiguan, refer to Description and Operation

Eos and Passat, refer to "Noise Insulation" in Removing .

CC, refer to "Noise Insulation" in Description and Operation

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 4- and remove the charge air pipe downward from the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-.

-- Remove the charge air hose -1- from the charge air cooler and remove the hose downward.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the Engine Speed Sensor -G28-.

-- Remove the Engine Speed Sensor -G28- bolt.
