Electronic Components Overview

There are electronic components located inside the transmission.

Only the Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module -J587- and the Shift Lock Solenoid -N110- are located on the selector lever.

1. DSG® Transmission Mechatronic -J743-
   • behind the large metal cover
   • Removing and Installing with transmission installed, refer to DSG® transmission Mechatronic -J743-, WITH TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .
   • removing and installing with transmission removed, refer to DSG® Transmission Mechatronic -J743-, WITH TRANSMISSION REMOVED 
2. Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G 182- and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor -G509-
   • The DSG® Transmission Mechatronic -J743- must be removed first before the sensor can be removed, refer to DSG® transmission Mechatronic -J743-, WITH TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .
3. Selector Lever -E313-
