Lower Oil Pan Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






Tighten the new bolts for the lower oil pan in 3 passes in sequence - 1 through 20 - as follows:

1 - Tighten the bolts by hand.

2 - Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.

3 - Tighten the bolts an additional 45° turn.

Upper Oil Pan Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification






Tighten the new upper oil pan bolts in 3 passes in sequence - 1 through 14 - as follows:

1 - Tighten the bolts by hand.

2 - Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm.

3 - Tighten the bolts an additional 90° turn.
