Service Interval Display, Coding For Delivery Inspection

First reset the service reminder display manually for the delivery inspection. The vehicle will be coded with a fixed service interval.

Resetting the service interval display using the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester, refer to SERVICE INTERVAL DISPLAY, RESETTING WITHOUT VEHICLE DIAGNOSIS TESTER .

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnosis Tester. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSIS TESTER .

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Select "vehicle diagnosis".

-- Select the following one after the other:

"On Board Diagnostic"
"17 - Instrument cluster"
"012 - Adaptation"
"SIA: Maximum distance until Service"

-- Enter 10000 and confirm.

-- Select "SIA: Maximum time until Service".

-- Enter 30.

NOTE:

After entering 30 in the instrument panel display, look to see if the following text is displayed "Service in 10000 km or 30 days", if necessary reset the SIA again manually!

-- Select go to and then press end.

-- Turn off ignition and disconnect diagnostic connection.
