High Pressure Sensor -G65- Common Rail

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Removing 

-- When working on the refrigerant circuit, note the information, refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT, SPECIALIZED REPAIRS .

- Disconnect the connector from the high pressure sensor

NOTE: If when loosening the high pressure sensor for longer than 1 second coolant is leaking, the high pressure sensor should be secured again and the coolant drained. The check valve in the refrigerant lines is defective and must be replaced.

-- Disconnect the connector from the high pressure sensor.

CAUTION:

Counterhold the connection -2- with an open-end wrench to prevent damaging the refrigerant line.

-- Remove the high pressure sensor -G65- -1- from the refrigerant line -2-.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal. When doing this, note the following:

-- Replace the o-ring.

NOTE:

High pressure sensor tightening specification: 8 ± 1 Nm.
