Upper Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence






Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in sequence - 1 through 5 -:
Tighten the bolts hand tight
Tighten the bolts to 9 Nm

Lower Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence, with 15 Bolts






Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in sequence - 1 through 15 -:
1. Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.
2. Tighten the bolts an additional 45° (1/8) turn.

Lower Timing Chain Cover Bolt Tightening Sequence, with 8 Bolts






Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in sequence - 1 through 8 -:
1. Tighten the bolts to 4 Nm.
2. Tighten the bolts an additional 45° (1/8) turn.
