Electrical Component Overview
-- Touch a grounded object before working on electric components. Do not touch the connector or open electronic components directly.
The electric/electronic components are located inside the transmission.
The selector lever sensor system control module and the shift lock solenoid are located on the selector lever.
- DSG® Transmission Mechatronic -J743-
- Installed behind the transmission cover.
- Removing and installing. Refer to one of the following:
Transmission installed. Refer to DSG® Transmission Mechatronic -J743-, WITH TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .
transmission removed. Refer to DSG® Transmission Mechatronic -J743-, WITH TRANSMISSION REMOVED .
- Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182- and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor -G509-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182- AND Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor -G509- .
- The Mechatronic unit must be removed first, before the sensor can be removed.
