Automatic Transmission Fluid Cooler: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the spring washer -item 6- in the AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID COOLER OVERVIEW .

• It must contact the washer -item 5- in the AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID COOLER OVERVIEW 
• The convex side of the spring washer faces up.

-- Insert the tab -arrow B- into the opening in the transmission housing when installing the ATF cooler -1-.

-- Install the coolant hoses to the ATF cooler according the marks made during the removal.

-- Check the coolant level.

-- Install the battery tray and the battery. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Check the ATF level. Refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING .

• Tightening specifications, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID COOLER OVERVIEW .
