Tie Rod End: Removing

-- Loosen the wheel bolts.

-- Raise the vehicle.

-- Remove the wheel.

-- Loosen the nut -1-.

-- Mark the position of the tie rod end on the tie rod.

-- Loosen the tie rod end nut -2- but do not remove it.

-- Remove the tie rod from the wheel bearing housing and remove the nut.
