Cellular Phone Bracket, Changing

NOTE:

There is no preparation for the cellular telephone bracket when the instrument panel is being replaced.

The opening for the cellular phone bracket must be cut by hand.

The work will be performed from the back of the instrument panel.

The opening is next to the slot for the radio -arrow- on the right side.

-- Place the instrument panel on a soft surface.

-- Drill both holes with a 6.5 mm drill bit -arrows-.

-- Drill the holes -1 through 4-. Make additional holes as needed.

-- Cut out the material.

-- Unclip the bolt mount from the old instrument panel and install the new one -arrows-.

-- Turn over the instrument panel and file the edges -arrow-.

NOTE:

Make sure the bracket mount is aligned when installing it. The bolt mount may also need to be aligned.

-- Alternately tighten the screws -arrows-.

-- Guide the wiring harness -1- through the opening and clip it into the bracket.

-- Guide the wiring harness through the opening -1-. Make sure the cradle mount fits correctly in the bracket -arrows-.
