Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J431)

The headlamp range control module is installed on the glove compartment.

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the glove compartment.

- Disconnect the connector from the headlamp range control module.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - from the headlamp range control module - 1 -.






- Remove the headlamp range control module - 1 - from the glove compartment - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tighten the bolts to the tightening specification: 2 NM.

- Check headlamp for functions.

Coding the headlamp range control module using the Vehicle diagnostic tester.

- Perform basic setting of headlamps. Refer to => [ Headlamp, Performing Basic Setting ] Testing and Inspection.
