Test Step 2 - (Z908) Ground Circuit Open

Turn the ignition off.
Remove the inner door panel trim. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Turn the ignition on.
Turn the courtesy lamps off.
Close the doors or trip the door latch to closed.
Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the (Z908) Ground circuit in the Driver Door Courtesy Lamp connector.

Does the test light illuminate brightly?

Repair the (Z908) Ground circuit for an open.
Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST Body Exterior .

Yes

Go to Test Step 3 - (M43) DRIVER DOOR COURTESY LAMP DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY
