Transmission Range Sensor: Removing

-- Remove the valve body. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the park rod assembly (2) from the transmission range sensor (1).

-- Remove the set screw (1), using tool (3) at the manual lever (2).

-- Remove the roll pin (3) at the Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) (1) using a pin punch (2).

-- Remove the manual lever (2) from case and inspect the bushing (3).

-- Remove the TRS (1 and 2) from the case.

-- Remove the manual lever seal (2).

-- Using a small flat bladed screwdriver (3) Remove the manual lever oil seal (2) from the case (1).
