Removal And Installation

NOTE:
Prior to the removal of the module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a scan tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed. For additional information, preform MODULE CONFIGURATION

- Upload the module configuration information from the DSM. For additional information, preform MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
- Remove the driver seat. For additional information, preform SEATING article.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Disconnect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Remove the DSM from the seat bracket.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
A new driver seat module (DSM) is delivered in a manufacturing mode with a pre-set DTC of B2477 (Module Configuration Failure). This DTC will clear when the module has been successfully configured during programmable module installation (PMI).
NOTE:
This step is only necessary if the DSM is being replaced.
