Test Step 3 - Liftgate Switch Signal Circuit Short to Ground

• Turn the ignition OFF.
• Disconnect the power liftgate module C2 harness connector.
• Measure the resistance between ground and the liftgate switch signal circuit.

Is the resistance less than 10k ohms?

Yes

• Repair the liftgate switch signal circuit for a short to ground.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

No

• Replace the power liftgate module. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE CONTROL MODULE .
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
