Test Step 3 - Liftgate Handle Switch Sense Circuit Short to Ground

• Turn the ignition OFF.
• Disconnect the power liftgate module C2 harness connector.
• Measure the resistance between ground and the liftgate handle switch sense circuit.

Is the resistance less than 10k ohms?

Yes

• Repair the liftgate handle switch sense circuit for a short to ground.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .

No

• Go to Test Step 4 Test Step 4 - Liftgate Handle Switch Sense Circuit Short to Logic Ground
