2009> All Vehicles Except Routan - RNS 510 Navigation Unit "Fader" Function
When replacing an RNS 510 navigation unit, the 'fader' function may no longer be present in the new unit. To restore the function, a unit reboot is necessary. Hold down the day/night, eject, and guide buttons at the same time until the unit switches OFF. Release all buttons until the unit restarts. An error message may display on the screen. Switch the unit OFF and then back ON with the power button. The 'fader' function should now be restored.
