2011> Vehicles with UDS communication Engine Control Modules - Erasing DTCs in the ECM Memory 

The option to erase/clear DTCs has been removed from the DTC menu in the Engine Control Module. To erase the DTCs through Vehicle Self Diagnosis (on Board Diagnostic), the Compiling Services selection must be used. Once the Vehicle On Board Diagnostic screen is displayed (Fig 1), select On Board Diagnostic (OBD) (Fig 2), 1001 Compiling Services, 1001.5 - Erase DTC memory - All OBD Systems (Fig 3) to erase the DTC memory of the ECM.
