2009-2013 Golf, Jetta, Jetta Sportwagen, 2012-2013 Beetle, Beetle Convertible Equipped with 2.0L TDI Engine - Engine Control Module Fault P2413 "Exhaust Gas Recirculation System Performance" Diagnosis Tip
When diagnosing ECM fault P2413 "Exhaust Gas Recirculation System Performance", pressure test turbo hoses for leaks and repair as necessary. Once repairs are completed, learned values in ECM must be deleted. Use VAS-PC Vehicle Self Diagnosis or ODIS Control module OBD to select Access Permission (or access authorization), then select Coding 2. Enter code 10008 when prompted. After code has been accepted, clear ECM fault code memory and then cycle key off and back on twice. Road test vehicle to ensure fault does not return
