When replacing a J519 Vehicle Electrical System Control Module be sure to follow the steps below to ensure full functionality of the new part:
- Take the module out of factory mode - Using the test plan in GFF or Guided Functions or through adaptation channel 19 under the adaptation test plan.
- Long Code the module - Through GFF (recommended) or VSD with the coding from the original module (If the part number did not change).
Set the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) (on 2010 vehicles) - Code the TPMS 01 87 04 through VSD address 65. Enter 1503 into access authorization and set adaptation channels 5, 6, 7, and 8 to the sticker pressure in bar (not PSI).
