2008-2015 Vehicles with Immobilizer with Download/Discharge-New Key Will Not Program
February 6, 2015: Update to Model Year.
If a new key will not program to the Immobilizer system, check that the correct key was ordered. Currently, Immobilizer with Download/Discharge keys can only be ordered from the LA or NJ Parts Depots. If the key did not come from either one of those depots, make sure the Parts Dept. ordered the key correctly.
When the key is ordered there should be a box to check so that the key is ordered according to the VIN number. For information to determine what Immobilizer system you are working with see TT 96-10-07 .
