Cooling Output Temperature, Checking: Checking

-- Close the hood.

-- Measure the ambient temperature.

-- Close doors, window and sunroof.

-- Open all instrument panel vents.

-- Set the A/C system temperature to "cold".

-- Set the air distribution to the center vent.

-- Keep the temperature sensor -2- approximately 20 mm -3- into the shown air vent -1- area.

-- Turn on the A/C system by pressing the AC  button.

-- Start the engine.

NOTE: Start of time measurement (five minutes).

-- Bring engine speed to 2, 000 RPM and hold it there.
