Front Bass Speakers -R21- / -R23-

The Left Front Bass Speaker -R21- /Right Front Bass Speaker -R23- are installed in the front doors.

Removing and installing on the left and right sides is identical.

Removing

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the front door trim panel, refer to Description and Operation .

-- Unlock and disconnect the connector -arrows-.

-- Drill out the rivets -1- and remove the speaker.

CAUTION:

Always remove any shavings resulting from the drilling, otherwise they may cause corrosion damage later.

If the paint on the door frame gets damaged during drilling, touch-up immediately.

Installing

-- There are special blind rivets for installing the new speaker.

Install in reverse order of removal.
