A/C System With Automatic Control, CLIMATRONIC, Motor Overview
NOTE:
Note the following on a vehicle with a Start/Stop System. Refer to START/STOP SYSTEM .
- Left Temperature Door Motor -V158-
- Checking: Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051B or newer model.
- Removing and installing, refer to LEFT TEMPERATURE FLAP MOTOR .
- Replacing: Initiate the Basic Setting function with the VAS 5051B (or newer model). Refer to A/C SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC CONTROL, CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
- Defroster Door Motor -V107-
- Checking: VAS 5051B or newer model.
- Removing and installing, refer to DEFROSTER DOOR MOTOR -V107- .
- Replacing: Initiate the Basic Setting function with the VAS 5051B (or newer model). A/C SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC CONTROL, CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
- Front air distribution flap motor -V426- with front air distribution flap motor position sensor -G642-
- Checking: VAS 5051B or newer model.
- Removing and installing, refer to FRONT AIR DISTRIBUTION DOOR MOTOR WITH AIR DISTRIBUTION DOOR MOTOR POSITION SENSOR .
- Replacing: Initiate the Basic Setting function with the VAS 5051B (or newer model). Refer to A/C SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC CONTROL, CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
- Fresh air/recirculating air/back pressure door motor -V425-
- Checking: VAS 5051B or newer model.
- Removing and installing, refer to FRESH AIR/RECIRCULATING AIR/BACK PRESSURE DOOR MOTOR -V425- .
- Replacing: Initiate the Basic Setting function with the VAS 5051B (or newer model). Refer to A/C SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC CONTROL, CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
- Right Temperature Door Motor -V159-
- Checking: VAS 5051B or newer model.
- Removing and installing, refer to RIGHT TEMPERATURE DOOR MOTOR -V159- .
- Replacing: Initiate the Basic Setting function with the VAS 5051B (or newer model). Refer to A/C SYSTEM WITH AUTOMATIC CONTROL, CLIMATRONIC, CHECKING AND ADJUSTING COMPONENTS .
